How to use this knowledge base¶
Written for doctoral students and postdocs: compact statements you can reuse in prelims, papers, and seminars—not a first undergraduate course.
How to read a page¶
- Job — why the notion exists in research
- Core — definitions + main theorems (hypotheses matter)
- See it — a standard non-toy example
- Check — proof-level or counterexample self-test
- Next / Refs — continue or open a monograph
Undergrad-titled pages (arithmetic, school algebra, …) are recall cards, not lessons.
Browse¶
- Home TOC by research area
- Learning paths — ordered quals / research programs
- Search by theorem name, structure, or keyword
- Cheat sheet — formula index
- Writing style — contribution standard
- Coverage — gaps at grad/postdoc depth
